Bethel - Tuppers Plains, OH

June 11, 2016

Bethel Worship Center is a Spirit empowered, non-denominational church located in southeastern Ohio. Our Sunday morning contemporary worship service includes dynamic praise and worship and anointed teachings from the word of God. A nursery is available during the worship service and children, ages 3 years through 6th grade, are dismissed for KidZone classes after praise and worship.

Life Groups meet throughout the week at the church and in host homes.

The church family at Bethel extends a friendly invitation to come join us for worship. We would love to meet you!

We Believe

All scripture is verbally inspired as originally written and therefore infallible and inerrant.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God.

The Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin. Jesus Christ will return first, for the “dead in Christ” who will be resurrected bodily; and for those who are alive at His coming.  This resurrection not only precedes His return to earth to reign 1,000 years, but also precedes the Tribulation.

All men inherit a depraved nature and are lost sinners in need of salvation.

God has provided salvation through offering His Son on the cross of Calvary allowing His BLOOD to be shed for the atonement of our sins.

We are saved and justified when we recognize ourselves as sinners, and put our trust in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and His finished work on the cross of Calvary.  Salvation is by grace through faith plus nothing.

The redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.

The baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it.  With it comes endowment of power for life and service to be witnesses for Jesus Christ.

All believers should be baptized by immersion as an act of obedience, but not securing our salvation.

We should regularly participate at the Lord’s table.

The word of God teaches us “to live soberly, righteously, godly”.  Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word.

In a literal Hell where the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever’s name is not found written in the Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
